What is Main Street?

Main Street Burlington is a nonprofit organization working to promote the revitalization of your downtown using the model provided by the National Main Street Center. Main Street Burlington is volunteer-based but employs a full-time Executive Director. Guided by a board of directors, this administrator assists existing businesses, helps new businesses establish themselves, acts as a vital liaison with the city administration, and promotes a positive image of your community as new interest, investment, and pride in your downtown is encouraged. Most of the work of Main Street is done by a committed group of talented volunteers, which enables us to achieve a great deal on a limited budget, so we need your help, too!
